Paris, France – No matter the when, the where or the why, fashion’s establishment is always happy to see the return of one of its favorites. One such moment happened in Paris this week when famed supermodel Maggie Rizer returned to the catwalks of Paris after an 11 year hiatus!
The legendary model lost none of her magic as she stormed the catwalk at the presentation of the Fall Winter 2014/15 Louis Vuitton collection. The show also marked the first outing for French designer Nicolas Ghesquiere as Vuitton’s new artistic director.
Maggie Rizer began her modeling career in the late 1990s. Shooting to international fame almost overnight, she walked the catwalks for the world’s most famous houses like Chanel, Lanvin, Christian Dior, Burberry, Valentino, Vivienne Westwood, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Escada, Christian Lacroix, Giorgio Armani, Versace, etc.
Steeven Meisel shot her for her very first Italian Vogue cover. In addition to gracing the cover of almost every edition of Vogue, and she appeared on numerous other covers of rival titles including Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, etc.
