Lisbon, Portugal – After’s a years absence from the catwalk, Lidija Kolovrat returns with a new collection showcasing her original roots in menswear. This time instead of the exclusively darker, Asian influences that we so easily associate to her work, she takes evolves them into pure street wear. And as far as the men are concerned, we see straight-cut baggy shorts. They appear in two fabric combinations.
The women’s collection is a great compliment to the men. Like the menswear, we see large shoulder work, simply cut dresses inspired from the neoprene sweat shirts seen in the menswear.
Decorative flat packs are used on both. Three-tone, grey geometric prints visit the ensembles and are also used as lining in some of the coats. It adds on to the element of consistency for the designer.
