Novi Sad, Serbia – Verica Rakovevic presents an intriguing tale of fashion for Spring/Summer 2015. Hers is a story in which youth meets effortlessly with refinement and style.
Presenting the collection with a live orchestra and a romantic composition, the Serbian fashion pioneer writes this new chapter in her design career using a combination of leather, chiffon and lace. The mix is intoxicating as she creates silhouettes of dresses styled with leather pieces. She cuts her dresses long with alternating lace and charmeuse. The vest jackets are unlined, single-faced leather with long hand cut fringes.
Rakocevic embroiders her pants with sparking crystal elements. Her clever jumpsuit features large trousers while the top is printed. She completes the look with blue chiffon accents.
The collection could not be complete without the seeing the legendary designer take us to eveningwear. There she abandons herself to the simplicity of cuts in order to create her long gowns and cocktail dresses. She drapes her biases and gives us seasonal smoky colors for the perfect start to spring.
