Milan, Italy – Art Deco and Bauhaus are those currents, which are characterized by the search for beauty as a function of utility and clarity in art and architecture. Brioni Creative Director Brendan Mullane comes out with the same assumptions in creating the collection Fall/Winter 2015-2016, smuggling at the same time the riding theme with its essential equestian finery.
This year Brioni celebrates its 70th anniversary and restore the former glory of tailoring craftsmanship to the catwalk by giving it a dimension of absolute modernity.
The range of the models includes checked proposals, melange ones, suede, classic quilting and leather crocodile also. Mullane puts on the waist belted double-breasted officer’s coats in two-tone color, worn with the raised collar consciously. The premeditated sets, such like silk and wool sweaters with white shirts with tie add extremely classy hue. Noteworthy are pleated pants in contrast with pony fur cardigans.
The color tones spread from a chestnut brown, silver gray, midnight ink, blue, opera red to palomino beige. The male fur stole definitely returns to favor and wingtips shoes and saddle-like leather bags just dot the collection.
What an exquisite parade of elegant riders!
