Paris, France – I don’t know if one could consider it as an haute couture collection, but it is certainly beautiful. I don’t know if one could consider it as couture, but it is modern.
The new Spring/Summer 2015 season at Yiqing Yin sees the woman being adorned with exquisite choices for both day and evening. She first opens her day to looks in gray. Though sexy, they are practical and are confectioned in beautiful wools and silks. She takes the wool to create a first look with a long, soft trench length coat with huge lapels. The look has a scarf and matching pants and shoes. The same material is used to create a two-piece silhouette that reveals draping. Of the daywear looks, one has to love the two-piece total look consisting of trousers and a perfecto with crystals.
Things start to really heat up with the addition of the metallic silks. Light and airy, they allow the perfect amount of light to diffuse through and thusly revealing the flesh. And later we see the addition of computer generated patterns in them modern lace. It is used to make an extremely daring jumpsuit and later a top worn with baggy leather trousers.
