DSQUARED2 Celebrates 20th Anniversary

Lodz, Poland – It’s been 20 years since Dsquared2 began enchanting the world with their funky and sexy style. And the house’s founders, Dean & Dan Caten certainly know how to celebrate in big style. The dynamic duo brought in Mary J. Blige — the world’s reigning monarch of hip hop soul — to crown their success. The collection for Fall/Winter 2015-2016 shows all the best the fashion house has to offer. A diverse look through the best, signature styles.

On the catwalk we find a celebration of reinterpreted with house’s best fashion moments mixing Canadian ruggedness with fine Italian tailoring. One can see rock chic, lumberjack style, naked sex appeal, flashy glamour and romantic evening wear.

The silhouettes feature oversized parka’s, denim, leatherwear, furs, plaid shirts, vest, jackets and printed t-shirts. The pants are mostly slim fitted and are cut above the knee. They are in treated denim, canvas or leather, with a new addition – the Hockney. Beautiful black & white evening wear features folk embroideries, also tuxedos in velvet, camouflage, lamé or in shocking pink.

The parkas gave in to oiling and polishing in rubber-coated fabrics, other pieces studded and finished with fur. The color palette ranges from beige, blue, bordeaux, black, green, red, white to shocking pink. Each set accesorised with eye catching signature fur Cossack and trapper hats, caps, boots, belts and hip fringed bags.

The presentation finished with superstar Mary J. Blige singing “One love” opening a new way for the new to come-hopefully as fun and energetic as always.
