St. Petersburg, Russia – Fabric Fancy serves up a Fall Winter 2015/16 collection that is defined by the mastery of cuts, technique and elegance. And as this writer champions simplicity, you can always be sure that it always requires the best technique.
This collection has everything for the modern woman. Soft and elegant daywear, after 5:00pm and dinner wear. Whenever a look needs it, there is always a light jacket in silk upon which one can call for that finishing touch.
The mix of original prints such as the common housefly depicted in yellow, or servants in pearl-finished threads add flair and originality to the collection. All seem to be so easily done thanks to the mixes of silk, sheers, gabardine and chiffon.
The pantsuits and other composed silhouettes in the collection are perhaps the best in show here. And such great technique! The patterns are really original. This is a pleasure to see that the house has invested real time into making original patterns of its own for its clients instead of relying on the fabric provides good graces for exclusives!
