Antwerp, Belgium – Young Serbian designer Stéfan Ristic made a bold step towards becoming a recognized and successful designer. Showing for the first time at the Serbia Fashion Week, he presented solid capsule collection that would go on to spark a bit of controversy.

Ristic, who is only 19 years old, decided to create a very fashion collection in which black and white star on sheers, leather and other fabrics, which have been formed into petals. He bears the both the legs and shoulders in some looks on the one hand, while offering dramatically long sleeves in some other creations on the other hand.

Though this is a small collection, it certainly is not without its own share of public ire. Some in the public and Serbian media would go on to criticize the collection as one that promotes “Satanism”. This is only due to the pentagram star makeup on the models’ faces. But for those of us who do not look for religious guidance at fashion shows, we only saw MAKEUP!
