Novi Sad, Serbia – Serbian designer Danijela Bozic wishes to hypnotize her clients this season with a seductive collection for Fall Winter 2015/16. Here she is taking incredibly bold risks with her aesthetics. And it is well worth it!
For those of us who have been following this designer’s work over the past two years, this new work must be truly considered as her official coming out party.
This is a collection that is based on leather, velvet and laces. She opens the show with a series of cocktail dresses and gowns in black lace. Her laces are more modern. They somehow allow Bozic to explore her growing mastery of technique and variety.
The designer uses lots of embroideries to embellish her creations. She does that this season instead of relying on jewelry. They serve as a unifying element between the three sides of the collection.
The last part of the collection sees the designer introducing the velvets that shape the body. With them offers coat-dresses with bolero capes. We finally have the opportunity to most admire her embroideries.
Bozic finishes the collection with a divinely sculpted dress in green leather. It has cutouts and gold embroideries. The dress is perhaps her most bold creation to date.
Of all the young generation of Serbian designers, she is the one that has been most consistent in developing her ideas and expanding her universe all while simultaneously improving her technical savoir-faire by huge leaps and bounds!
