Lodz, Poland- With a long lived tradition the fashion house Etro presented a new Spring/Summer 2016 collection that clearly celebrates its signature, enchanting style.
The Victorian influences with the rich, multi-detailed pieces are very visible. Each garment has it’s own magic with it’s mysterios and romantic feeling. One of the inspirations behind it is classical ballet. So the clothes are light and move freely with the silhouette. The head of the work are jackets, dresses cut knee lengtt or maxi, pleated skirts, robe coats and wide pants. All have enriched with beading and emroideries.
The garments are govered at the waist defining the silhoutte, and mixed to created layers with delicatly exposed bodies with sheer material. The colors are dusty, earthy shades like taupe, ivory, beige, powder pink, mauve, blue and mustard. The materials used are light-weight with linen jackquard, chiffon, jersey, silk, lace with some ribbon accents. The accesories feature boots, flats, leather clutches, etc.
