Lodz, Poland – The Polish queen of the dress — Natalia Jaroszewska — has proven once again the strength of her point of view during the Fashion Philosophy and through the presentation of her much awaited strong new collection for Spring/Summer 2016.
The climate of Cyprus, where the designer lives, heavily influences her work. The collection is arranged in neutral colors, mostly blue which make them appealing for woman searching good quality for their summer vacations. The garments are loose, creating freedom of movement and with the Bohemian elegance for which the designer is known and that she loves. Each piece is ultra feminine with signature dresses, tops paired with skirts, jumpsuits and pants. Lightweight denim-like cotton fabric is used to create body-conscious silhouettes. As the long gowns cling to the body, their details make the women look wanton and lustful.
Natalia Jaroszewska knows the woman’s body and know how to expose it without overdoing it. The slits, drapes and necklines oblige the woman to take special care and encourages her to head to the gym to perfect her shape.
The arms are accented in some of the options with dropped shoulders, ruffle necklines and voluminous sleeves. Some of the skirts are created from floral printed and vertical patchworks. Other visible motifs create that romantic, gypsy feeling in the pieces made out of lace, floral printed silk and extravagant jackets decorated with feathers.
Though the garments are globally beautiful, at times the collection does give one the impression that there are too many similar pieces. The creation of some stronger statement pieces would be a good remedy that would break that monotony.
