Milan, Italy – OMG ! This writer is absolutely in love with the color palette in the new Z. Zegna collection for Fall Winter 2016/17. It is the perfect way to liven up dreary, cold days.

Anis green, mechanical pumpkin orange, heather, charcoal gray, camel and brown have come together to make for an intriguing story. They are placed on wonderful wools, cashmeres, silk, knits, suede, shearling and technical fabrics. And to them we also see patterned embroideries woven onto the blazers and jackets. These same colors are used in the accessories, which include backpacks, gloves and shoes.

The silhouettes feature beautiful sartorial tailoring. The looks are slim, but not at all confining. They are elongated through the very long outer coats in bold anis green. This tone is also used as the lining of coats and in the knit tops.

The result is a beautiful collection made for active men of high standards in color, comfort and fit.
