Paris, France – AVOC presents for Fall Winter 2016/17 a clean collection of easy and comfortable fits with large reach for commercial appeal. The garments are cut loosely and with a soft, sartorial tailoring. The colors are deep burgundy, blues, and with various tones of gray.
Bandage like strips are used as a recurrent features in the pieces. Mostly presented as aesthetic embellishments, they also take on a more functional role in certain pieces. In some of the blazers they are used as belts. And as for the fabrics in the collection, we find stripes and Scottish plaids on wool, sleek semi-brilliant technical fabrics, wools, knits, jersey, cotton denim and felts.
Though extremely from being considered as groundbreaking or innovative, AVOC ‘s work for the season is consistent, simple and straightforward. And in today’s race, steady will do just nicely to get you across the finish line.
