Lodz, Poland – Showing on the off calendar at the FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week this season is Polish designer Mateusz Pulko. And in this menswear collection, the designer shows that he has the right stuff and the very real potential for making a strong name for himself in international fashion.
This Fall Winter 2016/17 short story is in all black. The pants and jeans in the silhouettes are cut close to body for a sexy look. To them Puklo adds knitwear, button down shirts and leather tops. He accessorizes only with black gloves. As for outerwear, he incorporates long, fur-lined coats; short-cropped perfectos; peacoats and long, banded collars. One of the coats possesses lapels of Gargantuan-sized proportions! And from the cutting done in the hybrid form of a peacoat/double-breasted blazer, Puklo may possess some very serious tailoring skills. In any case it all results in a small collection that is a near deadly cocktail of male elegance with a truly rugged sex appeal.
