Madrid, Spain – Duyos is without doubt the rightful winner of this season at Madrid Fashion Week.  His Spring/ Summer 2017 collection ‘Botánica’, creates the perfect world filled with beauty. Inspired by botanical gardens and organic shapes, Duyos has designed a place where elegance and purity rules.

White is the dominating color in ‘Botánica’, which is alternated with silver, black and soft pastel colors such as pink, yellow, green and blue. Stylish silhouettes, floral embroideries, organic volumes, satiny textures, jacquard and guipure are essential characteristics for the collection. The fluid movement of the dresses creates a delicate effect. This, in combination with lots of plays of transparency and strong embroidery, results in a reflection of powerful women in a peaceful paradise.

One of the favorite designs is a pastel blue dress with several transparent layers. They emphasize the waistline and ankles, much like those imagined of a mermaid cut. Another representative design from Duyos is the final dress of the presentation. It is completely transparent with embroidered lines that create the shapes of an elegant Amazonian warrior. When it comes to the more wearable designs, the perfect outfit would be the high waist trousers with beige stripes combined with an ivory white top: classy, flattering and strong.

It was a true treat to see the presentation of Duyos’ Spring/Summer 2017 collection ‘Botánica’. The talented designer made it very clear that he is just getting started with his rise to the top. His growing fans base is sure to be there to cheer him on when he gets there!
