Milan, Italy – Taking grunge up to the next dimension, this season fashion house DSquared2 present in Milan their fun and quirky new Autumn/Winter 2017-2018 collection. Ironically enough, the new body of work here is less bling and more consumer-ready.

The energetic, exaggerated style of Dsquared2 ‘s collection is still doing great at surprising audiences with its clever ideas. This time one can see cute flower prints on pants, shirts and jackets. The signature elements are still here with shearlings, tuxedo pants, elegant jackets, a-line shapes, checked shirts and ripped jeans. For the season, both Dan and Dean Caten who founded the brand and continue on as its artistic directors, focus on the unisex trend. This results in many of the garments being interchangeable from man to woman.

The sweaters are gigantic and paired with a wide selection of shirt options. There are many key elements like fur lining, long fringing, denim, patches, sequins, vests and cowboy styles. The coat lines are elongated to calf length; and on the hips one can find shirt piece panels. If that wasn’t enough the accessories bring the finishing touches to this maximalist presentation with hats, bags, backpacks, scarfs and heavy trekking shoes.
