Paris, France – As true representatives of Italian fashion, DROMe is a fashion house focused on leather. The house works relentlessly with this living, natural material and in a totally original way.
DROMe unveiled its new colorful vision for Fall/Winter 2017 / 18 at the Musée d’Art Modern in Paris. Shades of black, grey, bright red, deep purple, ivory, lipstick, biscuit, moon-light, ochre, antique pink and underbrush the color palette. This highly metropolitan collection is a mix of both day and evening attire that has been spiced up with gold and silver detailing. The use of garments is cross-sectional; easy to wear but, at the same time, extremely elegant and luxurious. Going a long way from the classic leather jacket, the creative team at DROMe embraces the style of modern sports bike riders, combining a biker-rock style and treating and finishing the material with exciting new ways.
A rusty-gold puffed leather jacket resembling 21st Century biker tail-coat, with matching detached collar detailing, is perfectly paired with red leather pants and platform boots. Rusty-gold is also the colour used for DROMe’s oversized leather trench coat.
Perfectly tailored leather dresses and skirts prove DROMe’s attention to detail. Their contribution to women’s empowerment is the re-invention of classical pantsuit. Double-breasted white blazer is utterly combined with matching pants and red opera-length leather gloves. Different versions of trench coats prove their unmistakable taste that is born from a poetic vision of leather and a zealous passion for this material.
