Riga, Latvia – Amelia Earhart-inspires the Fall Winter 2017/18 collection from Talented. Created by designer Indra Komarova, it translates into modern dressing with tomboy touches for both genders.
The collection is on trend showing looks for both men and women and with shirts that are both practical and edgy. They are composed of shirts for men and shirt-dresses for women. Both interpretations worked well, with a touch of insouciance with open shirts and logo scarves for a finished look. The scarves could be mistaken for Hermes, with the Talented T logo and bright orange color coordinating with the collection that was rich in navies and greens. Bright orange aviator gloves are also a winning touch and give the collection a spark.
The sleekness of the many of the outfits, which perfectly evoke Earhart’s no-nonsense style, is lost however in overly ruffled trousers for women, disassembling sleeves and godet skirts. They appear like a purposeful look and as if they are simply too big for the models.
The strength in Talented ‘s new collection ss in the more traditional silhouettes that have stood the test of time.
