Atlanta, Georgia (USA) – Designer Anna Led has used her new collection to serve notice to all that she is indeed one of the best, if not the leading womenswear designer in the Baltic state of Latvia. Her new collection combines winter-readiness with a chic that respects today’s current trends. This assures that she appeals to not only the needs but also to the wants of today’s woman.
Anna Led ‘s new collection brings together wool, cashmere, velvets, tweeds and even subtle hints of sheer under one umbrella. Once conjugated into a cohesive whole, they are then pushed in with a combination of fall and wintery tones such as deep burgundy, mustard, coco, rust and black. They have been added to fresh, optimistic colors such as pink, blush and green.
The shapes vary in volumes and fits. Nonetheless, they have all been done to give comfort. We find a mix of apply cut, straight pants in knits going head-to-head with slimming pants with stirrups. They are worn with comfortable pullover tops with loose fitted collars. The number 1, 2 and 8 patches along with the strips and ribbed wrist cuffs on some of the jackets give the collection a particularly sportswear look. They only add to the cohesive and visual strengths of the collection.
