Lodz, Poland – The very new collection for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2012 season is without any doubt a surprising one. Not only because of the use of a new generation of fabrics, but also thanks to the fresh approach to men’s casual clothes and masculinity itself. The border between femininity and masculinity seems to fade away showing what fashion is all about: freedom.

Subdued colors, such as white, off-white, baby blue, and grey give space for both fluid and classic shapes. In men’s line of the collection we can easily find a wide variety of drapings, loose-fitting flaps, asymetric shirts and raincoats. On the other hand, we can also see two-tone shirts and skinny, ankle-cropped trousers. The vast majority of the garments is made of unusual fabrics, such as breathable nylons, that make pieces comfortable and wearable. A characteristic of Drzał’s new collection is also use of various uncommon blends: latex with pvc or silk and polyester.

Although the designer’s line for upcoming season is way different in comparison to his previous works, the fashion philosophy remains the same. Acting in defiance of the wide-spread rules, staying open to the new. Thanks to that approach we can joyfully observe unusual particulars, such as double sleeves, men’s leggins or crinkly seams. And as we all know, the devil is in the details.
