Paris, France – Georges Hobeika takes us away with a collection that is as breathtaking as it is light, airy and fresh. Done in clear hues of pastels, the designer fulfils the dreams of the Hobeika woman.
In the new Spring/Summer 2014 collection the couturier shows the shoulders of the woman. He uses tight fitting bodices with ample cut bottoms in silk to create movement. A large array of the cocktail dresses have halter top cuts and drop below the knees. Organza appliqués are used on the cocktail dresses and gowns for details. Crystals and pearl beading are used to embellish nearly each look.
Hobeika ties the collection up perfectly at the waist of each silhouette. Nearly each of them has small, satin belts with a small belt to punctuate the look. In the end it makes for an extremely consistent, soft glamour for the season.
