Supermodel Kim Alexis was born on July 15, 1960 in Lockport, New York.

As an athletically inclined girl, Kim was involved in junior high and high school sports.  Not only excelling in extra-curriculuar school activities, she also did well in her academic studies, and in particulary math and science. That led her to intiatial planning a career in pharmacology.

However, fate would have its say and would soon intervene to change the course of the young Ms. Alexis’ life.

At the tender age of 18 when Kim’s beauty begin leaving many breathless, she was discovered by Elite Talent Agency. She moved to New York City and began what would become one of the longest and most successful careers in the history of the modelling business. Her face soon began gracing the covers of the world top selling fashion bibles including Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Mademoiselle, etc.

Kim picked up a coveted contract as spokesperson for Revlon, for whom she appeared in countless print advertisements and television spots for the cosmetics juggernaut.

With her face everywhere and her name in everyone’s mouth, it was only natural that she would be selected as one of the world’s most beautiful and desirable women to appear in Sport Illustrated’s coveted swimwear edition.  A feat she would go on to repeat an additional five times!

During her modelling career, Kim Alexis became associated to top names including Revlon Ultima II,  Zales, Chantilly Perfume, Tiffany Perfume,  ‘Eggs, Contempra, etc.

She also appeared in countless commercials for Revlon, Silkience Shampoo, Rapid White, Suave Shampoo, Mixe Babe Shampoo.

With more than 500 magazine covers and some timely earned experiences in front of the camera thanks to her work as a Revlon girl, Kim found that her beauty and intelligence could serve her well in obtaining for her a second career in broadcast journalism, television and film.

Kim has been a guest host on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Attitudes, The Home Show, etc. She has also hosted Saturday Night Live, the Miss World Pageant, Gladiator,

After more comprehensive training in acting, Kim Alexis landed roles in television hits such as Cheers, Sunset Beach, Perry Mason, etc. appeared opposite of Eddie Murphy in The Holy Man (1998).

Kim has also work as a contributor to Good Morning America and fitness correspondent to The 700 Club and lifestyle correspondent to USA Today on TV.

Today, Kim Alexis is a born-again Christian,  and is most proud of her roles as wife and mother of five children.  She is also a champion of women’s issues, fitness, health and wellness issues pertaining to women. Since the early 1990’s she has hosted health shows on the Family Channel and Lifetime.
