Skater Boys Go the Way of Refinement

Paris, France – Lanvin takes the skater boy and gives him a sophisticated Fall Winter 2013/14 wardrobe, thereby revealing yet another aspect to his personality.
The trousers of his suits are as close to the body as skin. However the blazers have a looser fit and are dramatically longer than expected. He wears t-shirt with reflective geometric shapes. As he evolves with the collection, so does his tastes grow more and more sophisticated. This is evidenced in the soft loosely cut trousers in black. They are paired with a body-hugging knit top in black and with green blocking. The sleeves are incredibly slim. The look is completed with gloves.
All Lanvin collections have surprises. This season the big unexpected element appears in the sheer tops worn with a tailored leather blazer in shockingly optimistic bubblegum rose. This allows the Lanvin skater boy to show that he is not just a lover of established trends, but that he enjoys creating them as well. This also accounts for the volume seen in the shoulders of some of the coats, the larger than life lapels and the huge shoulders and the square quilting in his leather coats, shorts cropped jacket and other pieces in woven fabrics…
