HOURGLASS SHAPES DETECTED IN ELEGANT LOOKS

Milan, Italy – Sergio takes us to the Far East for inspiration into his new collection for Spring/Summer 2014. Its silk, cotton, linen, leather and wools all make for a beautiful backdrop against a palette of blue, white, light tan, etc.

Interesting things have been done with the knitwear as we find graphic woven pints in the knit sweaters.  We see finely tailored suits mixed with lots of knitwear. Some suits are taken apart and mixed into more leisurely looks by adding sandals. The collars are banded in the jackets, sweaters and shirts. Light stitch quilting embellishes some of the pieces.

It is most interesting to note the hourglass shape that has been given to some of the models though the cut of certain suit jackets, which are exquisite. The trousers are cut short to reveal the ankle and to draw attention more towards the footwear. Here a variety of styles can be found with various sandals, moccasins, above the angle cut shoes and formal slippers.
