CRICKET ANYONE?

Milan, Italy – Upon walking into the venue for the Moncler Gamme Bleu show, one immediately noticed that the floor of the room had been transformed and covered the lush green grass. “But why”, we asked? “What could Thom Browne have dreamt up for us now?”
It would only take seconds to realize that Browne had prepared the venue into a cricket field. The grass court was traced in white crocket balls with Moncler Gamme Bleu written in blue and red text. And with that the theme of the new collection was thusly unmasked.
The models began appearing one by one as if to make a large class photo. All dressed impeccably in white and off-white. Blue and red borders soon began appearing in the silhouettes. The collection is dominated jackets and trousers in blinding white. Lots of knitwear can be found as either sweater tops or long jackets. Plush technical fabrics are used in creating some jackets. It’s cool to see the quilting in the pieces as well.
