Milan, Italy – For Spring/Summer 2014 Italian fashion house Iceberg unveiled its first collection signed by its newly appointed creative director Federico Curraci. This is one of the most anticipated of the season because of expectations were high.

Far more sporty and urban that what one is accustomed to in the Iceberg universe, the new direction is easy to recognize and understand. Military olive green, navy blue, taupe and white are the colors that dominate. They are applied to slim trousers with large borders lining the pockets of the pants and trousers.  The shape of the shirts uniformly ends in rounded bottoms like the crew necks. Flashy silver zippers highlight many of the pieces like at the pockets in the pants. They are particularly present in the leather jackets.

The collection strikes a great balance between the inclusion of shorts and knitwear.  Some knit pieces seem to have a spongy aspect from the distance of the catwalk.
