Paris, France – This season founder and creative director Sophie Méchaly presents the Paul & Joe woman as a young lady lightly clad in very short dresses and skirt. And for her the Fall-Winter 2014/15 season is the perfect time for her to play with beautiful and optimistic outerwear.
Shearling, leather, lace and wool all make appearances. The latter is used to create an are of freedom related to the1960s. It is used in an inspired look composed of a mini skirt and short-cropped jacket. It is a cool, décontracté chic that sees her wear black satin shorts with long corsair’s boots in suede. The satin then becomes a long full skirt first and then a shortly cut set of pants.
Though color is always expected in any Paul & Joe collection, this season sees the more boldly graphic printed pieces constantly toned down by an element such as a nice solid piece.
