April 1, 2014 – In the new Fall Winter 2014/15 collection at Z. Zegna, designer Paul Surridge has decided to create a sweet style with slim silhouettes. He creates them with lots of color blocking which helps to elongate the shape already. Apron style bibs with open backs are presented as an alternative to vests.
The suit blazers are longer this season than most seen on the catwalks of Milan. These looks are worn quite a bit with faux turtleneck tops and leather armbands. The large coats are done in both natural fibers and in nylon. Mohair and wool are also important fabrics in the collection this season, while blue, navy, gray, mustard and burgundy form the color palette.
