Novi Sad, Serbia – Montenegrin couturier Marina Banovic hit a time warp back to the elegance of classic couture of 1980s as inspiration for her Fall Winter 2014/15 collection. The designer created silhouettes exclusively dedicated for the final part of the socialite’s evening.
Banovic infuses her designs with lots of sequins, bows, crochets, embroideries, etc. She puts her exciting shorts in beading and silk. Many of the cocktail dresses are two pieces ensembles or are constructed with corsets.
Banovic should be careful regarding her technique. Some pieces lacked the delicate attention given to some other pieces. This resulted in some of the looks not being on par with the others.
