Novi Sad, Serbia – Serb designer Mladen Baron is working with quite a bit of lace and silk chiffon as defining elements of the house’s Fall/Winter 2014/15 collection. Lightly embellished with a belt, the dresses are perfect for cocktails and for formal occasions. Some of the belts are in simple black velvet while others are also in black velvet but finished with elaborate crystals.
As for the men, Mladen Baron focuses its attention on total looks dominated by suits. Here the ties are matched perfectly with the pocket squares. In terms of styling, the suits seemed a bit too large for the models. However as many of them were celebrity friends of the designer, a personal fitting would have taken care of this faux pas.
In then end, the collections for both men are women are very contemporary.
