Paris, France – The new Spring/Summer 2015 at 22/4 is about the sunrise. Stéphanie Hahn expresses it with an excellent color palette of navy blue, black, grey, white, and the softest of sky blues. She accents the tones a bit with just the right hint of frothy peach.
The tailoring is soft. The shoulders on her blazers are large, but lightly padded. They are extremely long for today’s current standards. The trousers are very roomy. Some in the pale grey tones have large utility pockets. The dress shirts are button down but do not have any cuffs or buttons at the wrists.
Overall the collection is youthful, and has a casual street chic where the man is not overdressed yet never underdressed.
The blazers are detailed for a hint of identity. The faux lapels are incredibly thin and give rise to micro collars. From there we see little silver hooks become the center of embellishments on the sides of the blazers and trouser. One long trench can be converted into a short-cropped jacket. We see this repeated in other elements too.
Silk is used to construct one of the lovely silhouettes for the men’s wear. It is a black Asian inspired cut complete with light movement.
The leather is used to create short jackets. The leather is thin but still is chic. It is also used in trousers that are not cut to close to the body. But paired with a long linen jacket, it is perfectly appropriate as urban wear. It is also nice to see jeans cut in the black flowing silk.
