Paris, France – In his new collection for Spring/Summer 2015 the American fashion star Thom Browne looks to be creating for the tin man of OZ. In it we see lots of shorts, sleeveless military jackets, military hats, etc. The buttocks are defined by cones as are the shoulders. There is lots of bra-looking padding in the backside. The shorts are asymmetrically cut and are finished with lots of sharp points. These points are so sharp on the shoulders, elbows, knees, buttocks, and pectorals.
From an editorial perception, the collection will do very well in magazines and continue to strengthen the designer’s reputation as one of the currently most created minds in fashion. However from a commercial side, look for the silhouettes to be dramatically toned down in order to find themselves into practical wardrobes.
