Paris, France – Y-3 starts us with all black for the Spring/Summer 2015 season. The collection is youth oriented for the present tastes of today’s chic sportswear enthusiasts.
The track pants are redone in advanced fabrics. There are baggy trousers cut short and finished with both ribbing and drawstrings. The t-shirts reveal a second color for detail: one rolled up into a small cuff on the arm. This green returns in other pieces and in the same way such as blazer. Then it is again seen as piping and strings in the hoods of the jackets. And finally we see it in the shirts fronts but as blocking details. Large pockets appear on this track pants.
White then move into gear with the Y-3 logo, which is embedded into the t-shirts. The look appears to be layered with the shorts and with the hooded light jacket.
It is interesting to see a floral print section in the collection. At first used in the shirts, it reappears as lining of some coats, and as horizontally blocks in the pants and jackets, and even as a feature of the caps. It’s even used in total looks of t-shirts baggy pants and a light, long raincoat.
