Lisbon, Portugal – Ricardo Preto presents a very usual collection for Spring/Summer 2015. In all honesty, it is a bit difficult to understand and appreciate upon first viewing it. No doubt about it, there will be some time needed to properly digest it.

There really is no need to discuss in detail the collection’s many failures such as the “oh my God” poor design choices and a color palette that would make one go “Oh no he didn’t!” Rather it would be best to focus on the two saving graces of his work.

The fringes in the collection did tend to be a tad bit much for the most part. However, Preto was on to something nice when he used them in the white dress seen in the end of the collection. In addition to that the acid faded pastel yellow dress is nice and brings the only breath of fresh air to the collection.
