Lodz, Poland – Rising Polish designer Edyta Pietrzyk presented a very tasteful Spring/Summer 2015 collection on a very cold morning in Lodz. This season she uses soft colors such as light gray, pale pink and black to set the mood for style.
Clean lines in combination with 3D geometrical forms run rampant in both the men’s and women’s collections. Light cotton jersey is the standout material in both. For the women she places it in pants worn with printed shorts inside. And for the men she creates tops worn with Capri-style pants.
She fades the gray and white into each other like clouds. A bit of soft pleating appears on the trousers. And of course hints of draping embellish both the men’s and women’s wardrobes.
Overall Ms. Pietrzyk has done work that is consistent on the eye. Further more it is stylish enough without being pretentious.
