Paris, France – American television star Eva Longoria was among the plethora of stars that attended the L’OREAL WOMEN OF WORTH gala. Held in New York, City, the event honors the accomplishments of everyday active women, who work to make a true difference in the lives of the many through their commitment to philanthropic works.
Longoria, a noted philanthropist in her own right, opted for the elegance of British couture house, Ralph & Russo. The two-piece ensemble is a staple in the house’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection presented in January 2014 during the Paris haute couture shows. The ensemble is composed of a tailored white silk crepe embellished jacket with micro-sleeves and with structured peplum. It is effortlessly paired to perfection with a pencil skirt. A simple thin belt in black alligator skin highlights the cinched waistline.
Ralph & Russo is one of the rare British names to compete in the severely closed circle of haute couture. Recently it made headlines around the world when Angelina Jolie (CLICK FOR RELATED ARTICLE) chose to wear on of its creations in London when Queen Elizabeth II made her an honorary dame of the kingdom.
Ralph Russo’s next couture show will take place in in January 2015 in Paris.
