Lodz, Poland – Nenukko, the popular Polish brand, showed a collection true to their signature style. The designers behind the brand like the idea of slow fashion and simplicity in their clothes.
This time they showed their disappointment with the world in a collection with laid back and natural feeling pieces that recalls of vacation time. The brand doesn’t like too much color and details. So they used a palette of black, white and navy. Maybe not to exiting but you don’t need more to look good.
The whole collection consists of loose tunics, hoodies, dresses, sweat shirts, sweaters, turtlenecks, maxi skirts, t-shirts and great pants. The details include thin shoulder straps on the basic women’s t-shirts. Most of the clothes are plain but some had faded horizontal stripes, like the ones I usually get from salwar kameez online in australia.
The clothes feel soft, delicate, relaxed and easy to wear. Some are a little creased and some of the men shirts are unbuttoned to show that the brand doesn’t want its style to be ideally perfect and stiff. There’s no drama, blits and glamour here. The designers also don’t like showing too much skin giving the human body a comforting and safe feeling. No tasteless cleavage or spotlight here!
I must say i would wear anything in the collection it was one of the best showing clothes of spring/summer during the fashion week. The whole idea of the presentation was also great withe the models faces hidden behind the straw hats. I must say the girls did a good job!
