Lodz, Poland – The new Malgrau collection by Iga Szuchiewicz is a collection that is designed for the urban woman with chic tastes. Designed and pieced together with skill, the looks are simple in look, but far more complex in their construction than one could imagine.

Cotton and silk are the fabrics that the designer has this season. We see the occasional jumpsuit and pants set in the line. The bulk of the attention is placed on the dresses and skirts. This latter is really one of the most exciting elements in the collection as we see that she is doing “drop-tear” skirts in which the fronts are cut to just above the knees while the back form a light flowing train.

Szuchiewicz has also made prints important in the collection. From simple line to more elaborate computer-generated patterns, she finds a way to bring harmony to her work. Leather and leathered denim are also mixed in with the silks and cotton.

In the end Szuchiewicz has successfully created a Spring/Summer 2015 wardrobe that hits all the needs of a woman. And she has done so with a style that champions style and good taste.
