Lisbon, Portugal – Mint green opens the new season for designer Luis Carvalho. He uses it to create lightly structured looks for both men and women. The men’s pieces are a slight “rappel” of the women’s wear. Once paired together they do tend look unisex.

Moving forward, we find ourselves in a white section that is crafted for the ladies. He passes between more commercially safe pressed cotton looks and silhouettes with more artistic flair created from laser-perfected fabrics.

The great thing about his collection is that it bends between early 1980’s (circa 1981) and what is required for contemporary tastes. We see this amplified in the urban looks that feature cotton printed tops and matching shorts for the men and more gender-neutral pieces for the ladies.

The collection ends with taupe and yellow hued pieces for both men and women that repeat the previous themes.
