Lodz, Poland – For Spring/Summer 2015 Nuno Baltazar presents a very coherent collection, which is not only lightweight, but also highly expressive.
The dominant colors are monochromatic white and black, gray, nude, fiery red combined with strong pink, dove-blue, rich dark green and deep graphite.
The designer announces trends of 20’s dresses with the reduced state in a modern twist of two versions – sleeveless and asymmetrically exposed arm. The geometric matching of materials is also interesting, especially with the black vests and dresses with patent leather insertions. The extremely feminine silk overalls with exaggerated sleeves are noteworthy as well. Most of silhouettes have ruffles and are tied at the waist. Details, such as headbands wore by models, make the collection even more summer.
Needless to say Nuno Baltazar gives a new dimension to the small black dress and shows it as well in a small silver version. It’s tasteful and definitely wearable.
