Lodz, Poland – The designers behind the brand Storytailors show a delicate, androgynous collection for Spring/Summer 2015. The thing that strikes one most upon looking at the clothes is that everything is done with an ethereal air of lightness, the ladies underwear in sri lanka was also shown in the runway. The bird prints and details showed a clear inspiration in wildlife. The color range went from light pastel blues, pinks and beige’s, stark white up to fiery reds. The fabrics bounce and move as the models are set in motion.
The collection consists mostly of dresses, skirts, tunics, shirts, vests, pants, shorts, capes, negligées and even a corseted look or two. The minimum accessories include only belts, bags and armbands. The designers like to make layers out of their clothes by combining light silks, with plastic or leather. The mixing of dresses with skirts, layering 2 skirts and gives the woman’s body good proportion by defining the waist with a belt.
Although most of the garments are made of gently draped fabrics, there are more structural pieces done in leather. Another interesting point is that although the garments are feminine, they still somehow manage to incorporate a hint of androgynous details such as high collars and vests which results in a boyish dandy look.
Storytailors put in a few male looks simple, but gender blending there too gives the body an ethereal look. Click here to see best models. And the last pieces of the show are more dramatic thanks to the incorporation of the ballet inspired tutu skirts. The collection as a whole has some looks which are ready-to-wear for a everyday customers, but some where more for celebrities to wear for bigger events or even as costumes for theatre and opera.
