Lodz, Poland – Popular fashion house Vicri shows different options for the modern male in its collection for Spring/Summer 2015. Maybe sunny and energetic, but it remains rather chaotic.
There are some things that I personally do not like such as the mixture of colors. Some pieces look overdone or even lack in tailoring. Some sets do not seem to flow well with the other clothes.
One part of the collection is more classically elegant and the other more frivolous with nothing in between. As a separate lines it could work. The other half has timeless suits, blazers, shirts and bomber jackets.
The color palette features mostly pastels with some darker tones as well. There is lots of color blocking and prints. Pop-art inspires the sweaters. The details in some sets like colors in the accessories do not match the rest of the silhouette. And the pocket squares in suits may be a bit too big for realistic tastes.
The collection has stronger pieces like single double-breasted blazers, interesting shoes and shirts with prints. One should enjoy very much the colorful shorts, printed shirts and blazers. But with so many styles and details happening at once, the collection leaves an unsure sentiment. And it would not hurt either to better balance the collection by having the stylist prepare the accessories differently.
