Lodz, Poland- Designer Andrea Pompilio showed his aviator inspired collection for Fall/Winter 2015-2016, during the Fashion Week in Milan. The designer mixes great Italian sophistication and attention to detail, with a minimalist approach.

The sets consisted mostly of coats, suits, shirts, sweatshirts, straight leg pants and jackets. The interesting coats are a little oversized, singled or double-breasted and also feature details like multiple collars with a bit of color blocking and high wasted belts.

The simplicity of the cuts is paired with graphic designs, solid color blocks and mixture of textures. Also one can find many other interesting details like badges, rubber coating, initials and elasticized waists in pants. One can see typical Italian tailoring in the great fitting of the two or three buttoned jackets and body hugging shirts. A great attention is placed  on the accessories. Among them we find black & white sport sneakers, bags and two-colored long gloves.

The color choices are a strong plus with a solid palette of navy blue, denim, white and grey, toned down by hues of mint, egg and camel, or energized by bright shades of lollipop pink, scarlet red and acid yellow.

The pieces are sophisticated, yet sporty. The combinations makes for a rather fresh and modern approach to the military trend.
