Lodz, Poland – An angelic dandy is the ideal male character for the Fall/Winter 2015-2016 by Costume National. The urban angel is the inspiration behind this really chick rock’n’roll collection.
From simple to complex we can find everything here. From sets with only two solid color blocks to a variation of different colors, textures and details. The silhouettes are mostly very slim and really fitted for that rockstar look. One can tell that there is some inspiration with 1960’s mod in the clothes. Although the sophistication of each piece there’s a mood of freedom and lightness in the air. The double-breasted and military inspired coats, trenches and jackets catches one’s attention. Some pieces have interesting details like patched pockets and bondage stripes.
We have a hole range of sophisticated fabrics here: cashmere, fur, leather, suede, mohair and even giving a striking accent feathers. The color palettes is a chick as one can imagine a tasteful mixture of turquoise, camel, purple, gray, burgundy, dark green, dark blue and black- all greatly combined.
To give some edge to the sets we have a whole range of great accessories like sunglasses, thin scarf’s, studded belts, Chelsea boots, shoulder bags and document cases.
Always consistent, the Costume National collection is on fire this season. One can see the inspiration and can find pieces for any each age group. Marvellous!
