Lodz, Poland- Fascinated by the modern superhero, designer Tom Rebl showed his futuristic collection for men and women during the Fashion Week in Milan.
In his double identity them, the designer links reality with cyberspace. One can see a mixture of natural fabrics like cotton, leather and wool contrasted with shiny, high-tech synthetics. Some pieces combine masculine shapes with feminine touches, like pants having sewed capes to them. The basics slim shape mostly in gold contrasted with metallic sculpted figures giving the body a new definition. The leading color is black. It appears in many forms in the leather garments to 3-d effect Jacquard. From cool glam rock silhouettes with parkas, coats and slim pants, we head down to geometric prints and sharp details. The futuristic pieces really present in the propositions for women where red and blue-green with a strong shimmer showing a new course the designer is taking.
The evolution in the clothing makes one wonder for the future choices of the designer. Here is it a question of more cyber experimental themes or still the androgenic rock dandy?
