Paris, France – Portugal’s Modalisboa Association has announced that the next edition of Lisbon’s premiere fashion event will take place from March 13 – 15, 2015. The edition will be organized under the theme of “Curiouser”.
Modalisboa, which is often times and informally referred to as the Lisbon Fashion Week, will bring together more than 25 of the top Portuguese fashion houses, designers and labels. Each will present its Autumn/Winter 2015/2016 collections. Foreign guest designers will also debut their new collections, while rising Portuguese talents will present their work in the Sangue Novo catwalk show, which is slated for the opening night.
In a press release the Modalisboa organization stated:
“This will be an edition that will explore the value of strangeness and curiosity that the unknown can motivate in individuals. The search for new forms, new trends or new concepts is in the core of the fashion industry… and innovation motivates and generates the growth and evolution of an important industry such as Fashion.
“The curiouser is an individual that creates, interprets and reinvents innovating and exploring the curious unknown territories. Either designer or buyer, either fashion industry player or the street fashionista, we can all be curiousers … and we are all part of this “Curiouser” fenomena that makes Fashion be such a special industry.”
