Lodz, Poland – In his new Fall Winter 2015/16 collection the Spanish designer David Elfin continues his experiments with gender play. And “sportswear gone dark” is how one can sum up the main mood.
The color scheme is only black, white and grey creating a harsh and mysterious mood. The dynamic of the sets create a violent and disturbing feeling. The male models are dressed in dresses, culottes, long tunics, jumpsuits and maxi skirts, for which the designer is known. One can find also simple solid black blouses, shirts, bomber jackets and turtlenecks. The pants have wide palazzo legs or are slim fitted. One can see also boxy shorts over leggings. There’s a visible inspiration in martial arts with the clothes tied with leather belts.
The details feature melancholic prints, pleats, zippers and triangle patches. The accessories include leather gloves, backpacks, bags and belts.
