Lodz, Poland- From the light, go to the darkness. Then enter the fairytale inspired collection by designer Juan Vidal.
The Fall Winter 2015/16 adventure features slim silhouettes with an ethereal look. The fabrics are both matt, light weight, crisp and shiny. The delicate ones move with the models’ body and bounce around. The details include feminine bows and feathers. The floral prints stand for an exotic and girly effect.
Finely made, the pieces hug the body making it romantic and magical. One is reminded of Japanese Lolita girls. One can see a selection of coats, midi dresses, furs, sweaters and jackets. Some look like lingerie. Here details include pleats, leg slits, a-line bottoms, huge buttons and plunging necklines.
The materials used are mostly silk, satin, fur and even plastic. The color pallet is mainly pastels like baby pink and tan, but also intense vermillion and black. The end of the collection gets more mysterious and sharp with more graphic details and the color black.
Though enchanting it’s more dedicated to younger women wanting to have their own cinderella moment.
