Lille, France – Following the acquisition of Tissu Premier by Première Vision SA in 2013, an in-depth review of the Tissu Premier/Collections concept has been carried out in order to identify the best match between the product and its market.

In light of this review, Tissu Premier has chosen to focus its efforts on its core business, serving a distribution sector organised to meet the needs of a local market.

The Tissu Premier show will focus on a single profession and a single sector: Specialist manufacturers and buyers of fabrics, in order to offer a harmonious and clear range of products to the organised distribution sector in northern Europe. Consequently, we will no longer be organising the Collections show in Lille.

The aim of this change is to create an event that offers a privileged and high quality professional meeting place as well as to develop loyalty and build a relationship with this specific and unique market. Our efforts are focusing on the development of quality relationships with all roles within central buying groups and specialised chains in this area.

CONSEQUENTLY, TISSU PREMIER IS CHANGING VENUE AND FORMAT.

PREMIÈRE VISION ANNOUNCES STRATEGIC CHANGES WITH TISSU PREMIER

On 10 and 11 June 2015, the Tissu Premier show will be held in Les Halls de la filature at Saint- André-Lez-Lille, a former spinning mill and Lemaire-Destombes factory and one of the flagships of the textile heritage of northern France.

Les Halls de la Filature have been entirely restored and have preserved the authenticity and charm of the former spinning mill with its beams and ironwork, making it into an unusual and unique venue, enhanced by its light well.

Located at Saint-André-Lez-Lille, just a few minutes from Lille itself, Les Halls de la filature offers all the advantages of the city in a green setting. This venue is ideal for encouraging the convivial atmosphere for which Tissu Premier is renowned.

With this change in venue, the format of the event is becoming more exclusive and will allow us to welcome no more than sixty or so weavers specialised in the organised distribution sector, with a range of stands that have been redesigned to this end.

Companies exhibiting at the show will be chosen for the capacity to adapt to the needs of this market. Candidate companies will be selected by a committee made up of professionals from the sector, according to criteria of expertise, service quality and financial reliability that have been harmonised to ensure greater coherence with the products on offer within the Première Vision group.
