St. Petersburg, Russia – Anna Ovchinnikova starts her new collection for Fall Winter 2015/16 with an array of gowns in all black evening gowns.  The best of the crow is the black velvet and silk number finished with boys. It features an empire bust-inspiration.

The second section of the collection is all about tones of white. It is a bit subtler, thought the preference for laces is obvious, as is the case for the hand-made embroideries.

Though the audience seemed to enjoy the collection, it unfortunately is severely lacking in what the French so clearly refer to as a “fil conducteur” or a common thread to link one look to the next and thus the formation of a cohesive collection.
